Samsung Sure is a financial service designed to help users secure the best financing deals directly from Samsung’s authorized dealers. The platform offers a seamless, paperless process, ensuring users can apply for financing, track their payments, and receive reminders—all through a native mobile app.
Effective branding ensures that the product is top-of-mind when consumers think of a particular need or category thus increasing the likelihood of user retention.
Overview
Samsung recognized that while it had a strong finance partner ecosystem, the process for customers was fragmented, requiring multiple offline steps. Users often:
- Faced lengthy paperwork for EMI processing.
- Struggled to find the best financing options for Samsung products.
- Had no centralized platform to track EMIs and payment schedules.
- Required dealer intervention, but dealers lacked a structured platform to assist customers efficiently.
Task
To bridge this gap, Samsung wanted to create:
Samsung Sure Mobile App – A user-centric platform where customers can:
- Get instant financing approval for Samsung products.
- Receive best EMI offers from authorized dealers.
- Track payment schedules & receive smart reminders.
- Maintain a seamless paperless experience.
Samsung Sure Tablet App – A simplified platform for dealers to:
- Guide users through financing options.
- Process applications quickly and efficiently.
- Integrate financing partners seamlessly.

To achieve these goals, I took the following steps:
Research & Discovery:
- Conducted user interviews with Samsung customers to understand pain points in the financing process.
- Collaborated with Samsung US & finance teams to align with global FinTech best practices.
- Conducted competitor analysis to identify best-in-class finance UI/UX trends.
Wireframing & Prototyping
- Created low-fidelity wireframes to map the user journey.
- Iterated multiple UI designs based on feedback from Samsung stakeholders.

Design Execution:
- Developed a clean, minimalistic UI in line with Samsung’s One UI design language.
